Autotank – Illin’ the system
Welcome to the Autotank blog.
I don’t have a lot to say. There’ll be a little bit of this, a little bit of that. Mostly we’re going to talk about tanking in WoW, the finer points of being an exceptional player and how to bend the rules in your favor.
The blog chatter is going to lean in the direction of warriors and death knights. Almost everything here can also be applied to rogues, feral druids and hunters. By the time we’re done, you’ll be a killing machine.
Control yourself
Let’s start with the basics: Keyboard turners are invariably retards.
Fortunately there is an easy fix at hand. Stop being a keyboard turner. The diagram below illustrates a possible schema for repairing your failed keybinding layout:
Swap your strafe and turn keys. Smart players use the mouse to turn, a combination of tab, macros and clicking to target and the WSAD keys to move as you would in a typical FPS. Everything will become clear when you switch from using a keyboard to using a gameboard.
